I've always been blessed to have a w/d in my home, even my first year out of school when the trailer I rented had one. Of course it was tiny, and the washer had to be hooked up to the sink and drained into the tub... but it worked!joekshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02667559017050803003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21560887.post-59418680072369201572008-09-09T16:07:00.000-04:002008-09-09T16:07:00.000-04:00Oh, how nice for you to be able to do laundry at h...Oh, how nice for you to be able to do laundry at home again. I don't like going down two flights of stairs to our laundry area and always wish for a laundry shoot but I am thankful that I have clothes to wash and I don't have to walk miles to the river to do my laundry. We don't realize how spoiled we are.Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02436076747841701889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21560887.post-44749394342680783022008-09-08T21:23:00.000-04:002008-09-08T21:23:00.000-04:00Yeah, and last year you were supporting me through...Yeah, and last year you were supporting me through some serious issues - you sure had a lot going on!

The last time I was single, most of the time I'd bring my laundry over to my parent's house. I'd get my laundry done, and a free meal or two. This is when gas was $1 a gallon so I ended up making money on the deal. LOL!

I'm so thankful to have a washer & dryer in my condo. When I was in junior high, the laundry room was in another building, and we had to buy tokens that broke half the time. We ended up finding a nice laundromat and hanging out there.

It does feel good to take pleasure in the "little" things that aren't so little when you don't have them. Aren't we blessed!Melanie Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00845137938576074247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21560887.post-64746367708366052562008-09-08T20:33:00.000-04:002008-09-08T20:33:00.000-04:00I like your colors and your profile pic. I am glad things are looking up. By the way I am tagging you! Not that wedding planning is stressful or anything...

It doesn't seem to matter whether or not I have a washing machine in my house, or that I don't work outside the home, I just can't seem to get it all together and keep it that way. (I think it's time for a cup of coffee. And I have a batch of blackberry jam waiting to be cooked. I do have a washing machine...so, any advice?

Thanks for visiting my blog today too! :)
NicoleAll 4 My Galshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04388794548592051699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21560887.post-16501125704836035802008-09-08T10:36:00.000-04:002008-09-08T10:36:00.000-04:00Different reasons, really. (and I think I did complain a couple of times:( We had a major septic problem that we thought was permanent and we would need a new septic that costs a lot of money. Then, all of the sudden, God fixed it and we didn't have a problem anymore. Then, there was another problem and Alan had to dig a new drain system for our washer alone, I think. Anyway, I always liked going over to Jen's. It was like my second home. I would go over and do little tasks that I needed to do while I was there, but doing laundry outside of your home sure does take a lot of time!

Thank you for loving my new colors. I love them, too.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09284719977215533338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21560887.post-15286214654576572792008-09-08T10:23:00.000-04:002008-09-08T10:23:00.000-04:00Love, love, love your new colors! In the past 7mos. you have never mentioned you were w/o a washing machine, and you never complained that i can remember! (at least not to us anyway!) Why were you w/o for so long?Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08089815960983795973noreply@blogger.com
