2 and a Half Weeks

Yikes! In two and a half weeks, we will be having a wedding! We will be having it even if all of those little details are still undone. We have been busy with all of the last minute stuff that we keep thinking of. So many details. I guess it makes sense for there to be so many details. Marriage is such a huge decision. It is good that it takes a bit of planning and thinking before the big day. Marriage changes everything from that moment on.

Did I miss something? Who is getting married?

Christine, my oldest daughter, Ashleigh is getting married on January 4th. AHHHHHH!! You are too funny thinking that you missed something. I have not written about it much lately with all of the other surgery stuff!

Wow, you have a lot on your plate here lately. I bet Davin is enjoying bending his leg and being able to get around better.

Your right about a wedding. My DH and I have been married almost 17 yrs. That 1st year was the hardest of all. Two lives meshing together--what a feat! (He was the last of 5 and I was an only child.) Poor guy!

Hope all goes well on the wedding day and you hold your peace through it all.

God bless,
Angie

Heather: Wow, talk about a busy season for you! As you usher your child into this new season of her life, I pray that you will all be filled with great joy and peace!
I have a daughter that is almost 22 and when she gets married, I will give her the book A Woman After God's Own Heart. Have you seen it? It is something I wish I had been given 25 years ago. Blessings!

Kim, that is an excellent idea. I have that book and everything! I love the way you said "ushering" her into this season of her life. That is exactly what we are doing. We have prepared and trained and taught and are ushering her into the next phase! Wow!

GMJ, I actually have two dresses because I couldn't decide.

Bethany, you are funny. It took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about;)

James actually asked me about Ashleigh's wedding last night. Maybe there is a glimmer of hope.
