Gudl reminded me today that I have not updated you all on Davin. (I am not at the computer very often these days.) Let me sum Davin's progress up by telling you that Davin and I were laying in my bed (I was sleeping, but apparently he was not:) I opened my eyes to see Davin's entire feeding tube in his little fist. He was holding his fist above his head and just smiling! I was nervous at first and you can not just pop a feeding tube back in, but after much debate, I decided to see that as Davin's way of saying that he had enough of that feeding tube. So, he has been eating by mouth for 6 days, I think. He has not had to have oxygen for over a week now and has absolutely refused to wear the c-pap thing. We have two appointments this week and are hoping for great news. I am praying that his lung is fully inflated once again.
On another subject, I was wondering if anyone has any creative ideas for Ashleigh's wedding ceremony. Has anyone seen anything especially meaningful and different at a wedding ceremony lately? We are getting the invitations out and starting to plan the wedding ceremony itself. So, any ideas.....?

Thanks for the update on Davin! Sounds like he is improving.... But do let us know what the Doctors say! I'll hafta think on the wedding ceremony...
I bet Davin is glad to be eating regular food again. I know I would be. Thanks for the update.
There is a really neat book about wedding planning. It's called Sacred Threshold: Rituals and Readings for a Wedding with Spirit. I read it while most of our wedding was already planned but I really wish I would've started off reading this book first. I think you could get it at a library.

I can just picture Davin, feeding tube in his fist, smile on his face. He has a way of communicating even without words. I wonder if he has forgiven me yet after all these years... Ask him if he loves me again yet.
Oh, I do think 'bout the wedding pictures!! And pray too.... It would help to see the church! Send pix my way!! I think Beka said you are going to have a 'Christmas' decor???? If so, I'm going to purchase a star burst filter so that the lights will all have points. Very pretty! (If you have no idea what I'm talking about I can find a picture for you to show you what I mean).
Thanks for your update! That is great news that Davin is doing better! You are in my prayers! Just today I prayed that God will heal him and help him to be the happy old self that you have mentioned before.

Martha, I will ask him, but I think he has forgiven you. You are right in picturing how he looked with the feeding tube in his hand. Then, he just threw his head back and laughed and laughed. It was so good to see him back again.
Shelly, we are having a Christmas wedding. The church decorations will be left up and the girls' dresses are red. The starburst filter sounds fabulous, but I would love to see a picture.
